Friends Lab provides a space for filmmakers and artists to work with motion picture film in Byron Bay and surrounds. Welcoming artists at all stages and experience, Friends Lab offers a membership based model that makes these resources more accessible.

The studio space offers a fully equiped wet lab for film processing, a dry lab for editing and post production, and a courtyard for screenings.

Membership to Friends Lab provides access to all facilities, including use of Super 8 and 16mm cameras and projectors. Members receive free entry to special events and discounted rates on workshops.
